Take part in Volunteers for Education and make your skills available!

The “Volunteers for Education” project aims to recover the learning and motivation to study of children and adolescents, aged 9 to 17, affected by the educational crisis produced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our University, which has always been at the forefront of inclusion issues, participates in the Save the Children’s Volunteers for Education project. The project aims to recover the learning and motivation to study of children and adolescents, aged 9 to 17, affected by the educational crisis produced by the Covid-19 pandemic. The project involves permanently supporting a volunteer, adequately trained, with a single child / adolescent or a small group of children / adolescents to accompany them to study online.

The project makes use of the collaboration of the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI) and the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), promoted by CRUI in collaboration with ASVIS (Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development) and all the universities involved in spreading this opportunity among students.

“Volunteers for Education” in the first year of activity supported more than 1500 children and young people, thanks to more than 950 volunteers. This school year it wants to reach more and more students thanks to the contribution of volunteers from our university.
